JAMISON, PA — Brittany Kosin, a lifelong resident of Warwick Township, has officially declared her candidacy for Warwick Township Supervisor, running as a Libertarian. Kosin’s campaign is centered on transparency, fiscal responsibility, and providing an alternative to traditional party-backed candidates.

Calling on Republicans and Democrats to write her in during their primaries, Kosin aims to challenge the status quo. She has already secured endorsements from the Libertarian Party of Bucks County, former Libertarian Presidential and Vice Presidential candidates Chase Oliver and Mike ter Maat, and Good Party.

“Warwick deserves leadership that prioritizes its residents, not the interests of career politicians,” said Kosin. “While the establishment fights over partisan nonsense, I’m here to offer real solutions—lower fees, more transparency, and leadership that listens.”

Transparency and Accountability

Kosin has built her campaign on a record of delivering on promises. During a previous bid for office, she pledged greater transparency in local government. Despite the township’s failure to record and stream meetings, Kosin stepped in to fill the gap. She personally recorded every township meeting, sharing them on her website and social media platforms, except for one instance when a meeting date was changed at the last minute without public notice.

“Government works best when it’s in the hands of the people,” Kosin said. “Warwick Township refuses to provide basic transparency, so I did it myself. I kept my promise, and I’ll keep fighting for an open, accountable government.”

Fighting Excessive Fees

While the current Board of Supervisors has avoided raising taxes directly, municipal fees have increased significantly under their leadership. Residents and small businesses have faced doubled, and in some cases quadrupled, permit fees.

Despite a reported surplus, the Board has not provided relief. At a recent meeting, Supervisor Michael Riotto acknowledged that the township’s surplus could support tax relief, but no actions have been taken.

Kosin’s platform includes rolling back these excessive fee hikes and lowering the real estate tax millage rate to ensure residents can keep more of their income.

Breaking Partisan Gridlock

Kosin’s Libertarian ideals promote common sense and collaboration in a township government she describes as dominated by a “hive mentality.”

“The GOP and Democrats are locked in endless political battles while residents are left behind,” she stated. “I’m here to represent the people, not the parties. We need a local government that focuses on real solutions, not political games.”

Kosin’s platform emphasizes three key priorities:

  • Reducing permit fees to alleviate financial burdens.
  • Lowering real estate tax rates to reflect the surplus.
  • Promoting transparency and streaming township meetings.

By offering an alternative to the two-party system, Kosin seeks to bring Warwick Township residents a voice of reason and a focus on practical governance.
