Shocking Arrests in Wilmington Heist: Three Suspects, Including Teen, Face Felony Charges

WILMINGTON, DE — Three individuals have been arrested following an investigation into an armed robbery that occurred last month on West 7th Street, according to Wilmington Police.

The incident took place on February 4 at approximately 11:41 p.m., when officers from the Uniformed Services Division responded to reports of a robbery involving a firearm. Detective Justin Wilkers of the Criminal Investigations Division took over the case and identified 20-year-old Dadrique Montaque, a 17-year-old male juvenile, and 23-year-old Jabree Green as suspects. Warrants for their arrests were obtained shortly after.

The arrests followed coordinated efforts by law enforcement over the course of February and March. Montaque was detained during a vehicle stop on February 25. The male juvenile was taken into custody on February 28 after officers executed a search warrant on South Harrison Street. Green was arrested on March 19 during a search warrant execution at a residence on Augustine Court in Middletown. All three were taken into custody without incident.

Each suspect is facing an array of serious charges, including Robbery in the First Degree, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Assault in the Second Degree, and Conspiracy in the Second Degree. Additional charges such as Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony have also been filed against them.

Montaque was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and is being held at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $117,000 cash-only bail. The juvenile was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and is detained at the New Castle County Detention Center on $40,000 secured bail. Green, arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas, is being held at the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $122,000 cash-only bail.

Authorities have emphasized that criminal charges do not equate to guilt. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
