NORTHAMPTON TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced scheduled road construction on Route 232 (2nd Street Pike) in Northampton Township, Bucks County, as part of a local safety improvement project.
The construction work will take place between Tanyard Road and Upper Holland Road from Monday, March 31, through Wednesday, April 30. During this period, weekday lane closures with flagging will be in effect from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The project will include sawcutting, line striping, and the installation of temporary barriers, all aimed at improving road safety in the area.
Motorists traveling through the work zone should plan for potential delays and are encouraged to allow extra travel time. PennDOT has advised that backups are likely and emphasized that the schedule for all activities is weather dependent.
