Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Suspect in Package Theft

WILMINGTON, DE — Authorities are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect tied to a package theft incident on Shipley Road on March 13, 2025.

According to the New Castle County Division of Police, a package containing a credit or debit card was stolen from a front porch and later used for cash withdrawals and unauthorized purchases.

Surveillance footage captured images of the suspect, described as a Black female wearing a white zip-up jacket and a white hat. She was seen leaving the area in a gray Nissan Altima or Maxima.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is encouraged to contact Officer Drew Johnson at 302-395-8172 or via email at Drew.Johnson@newcastlede.gov. Tips can also be provided through the New Castle County Police non-emergency line at (302) 573-2800, or anonymously via Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
