SCHUYLKILL TWP, PA — Aqua Pennsylvania will undertake water main construction on Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) this Saturday, March 15, resulting in a full closure of the roadway from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The construction will impact both Schuylkill Township in Chester County and Upper Merion Township in Montgomery County.

The closure will occur between Colonial Springs Road and Route 252 (Valley Creek Road). During this period, drivers will be required to follow a detour via multiple routes, including Route 23 (Valley Forge Road/Nutt Road), Route 29 (Starr Street and Bridge Street), Egypt Road, U.S. 422, and Route 23 (Valley Forge Park Road/Gulph Road). Local access will be maintained for residents near the work zone.
