PHILADELPHIA, PA — Authorities in Philadelphia are seeking assistance from the public to identify a suspect involved in a road rage incident that escalated into a shooting on March 10, 2025.
The shooting occurred at approximately 7:03 p.m. at the intersection of 42nd and Girard Avenue. According to police reports, two victims, aged 15 and 20, were injured during the altercation. Both individuals sustained gunshot wounds and are currently listed in stable condition.
The suspect was captured on multiple surveillance cameras in the area. He is described as a Black male, aged 40 to 45 years old, with a bald head and full beard. At the time of the incident, he was driving a 2016-2017 silver Honda Civic. The vehicle has visible damage to both front quarter panels, a missing passenger-side front hubcap, and a white vanity tag on the front bumper.
The Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigations Group is encouraging anyone with information to come forward. Tips can be submitted by calling 215-686-TIPS (8477). All tips will remain confidential.
Authorities have reminded the public not to approach the suspect if seen and to immediately alert law enforcement by dialing 911.
The investigation remains ongoing, and police urge residents to assist in identifying the individual responsible for this incident. All suspects are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
