Grupo Bimbo Launches 2025 “The Bimbo Dream” to Inspire Young Female Soccer Players

HORSHAM, PAGrupo Bimbo, in partnership with its BIMBO® brand and as a Global Partner of FC Barcelona, has unveiled the 2025 edition of “The Bimbo Dream” contest. This global initiative aims to inspire and empower young girls passionate about soccer by offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to train at the world-class FC Barcelona Femení facilities in Spain.

The program, now in its second edition, will select 49 girls aged 10-13 from 22 countries to participate in this unique experience. Of these, 42 girls will be chosen through an open contest while seven participants will be selected from Grupo Bimbo’s social programs, “Dream Champions” and “Futbolito Bimbo.” Over the course of four days, attendees will train, play soccer, and gain insight into the game from Aitana Bonmatí, the star midfielder and role model of the Azulgrana team.

Eligible applicants come from countries across North and South America, Europe, and Africa, including the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Spain, and Morocco. To enter, parents or guardians must submit a video via the contest’s official social media platforms. The video should feature the applicant introducing herself, expressing her passion for soccer, and explaining why she wants to participate. Applications close on April 7, 2025. A panel of judges in each participating nation will assess applications based on various criteria, such as proper registration, video content, soccer-playing experience, and readiness to travel internationally. Selected participants will not only improve their soccer skills but also explore healthy habits by learning to prepare nutritious meals, key to enhancing athletic performance.
