Financial Independence Planning Marks 30 Years of Service and Growth

Financial Independence Planning

CONSHOHOCKEN, PA — Financial Independence Planning, LLC (FIP) is celebrating a major milestone as it marks its 30th anniversary with a yearlong series of events and initiatives dedicated to honoring past achievements and reinforcing its commitment to clients and the community.

Founded in 1995 by Harry Keller, CEO and Senior Financial Advisor, FIP began with a clear mission to provide personalized, holistic financial planning. Keller’s vision of building a firm rooted in trust and education started humbly in his townhouse basement, where he collaborated with local Chambers of Commerce to deliver retirement workshops and complimentary financial plans.

Fast forward three decades, FIP now operates out of a 15,000-square-foot headquarters, managing over $700 million in assets through Cetera Advisor Networks LLC as of January 2025. The firm serves more than 830 households with a team of 26 professionals but remains steadfast in its mission to help families “Worry Less and Enjoy Life More” through strategic financial guidance.

“We are incredibly grateful for the trust our clients have placed in us over the last 30 years,” said Jared Keller, President and Senior Financial Advisor at FIP. “This anniversary is not just about looking back at our achievements but also about reinforcing our commitment to the future—both for our clients and our community.”

A Unique Approach to Financial Planning

At the core of FIP’s success is its proprietary Financial Independence Planning Process®, an 8-step strategy that ensures regular financial check-ins to keep clients’ plans aligned with their goals. Leveraging advanced technology, the firm provides clients with a comprehensive view of their financial landscape, projecting paths at every life stage. This approach offers tailored strategies and peace of mind, enabling clients to feel empowered about their financial futures.

A Year of Reflection and Celebration

To commemorate its 30th anniversary, FIP has planned a series of client appreciation and community-focused events throughout the year. Highlights include reflective blog posts, video interviews with the team, and family-oriented celebrations.

Key initiatives include:

  • A family-focused client appreciation day in June.
  • A client night event celebrating current and past clients, partners, and team members.
  • A special celebration for the FIP team in December.

The firm also announced a charitable campaign in partnership with Manna on Main Street, a nonprofit dedicated to combating hunger in the North Penn region. Throughout the year, FIP will organize fundraising efforts and awareness initiatives in support of the organization’s mission to provide food and essential services to those in need.

With a legacy of building lasting client relationships and empowering financial independence, FIP remains committed to its principles as it embraces new opportunities to serve and educate the next generation of investors. Reflecting on FIP’s three decades of success, Harry Keller remarked that the mission is as relevant today as ever.
