Philadelphia Police Urge Community to Help Solve Heartbreaking Fatal Shooting Case

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Authorities are requesting assistance from the community as they investigate a fatal shooting that occurred in the Tioga-Nicetown section of Philadelphia on May 14, 2022.

The Philadelphia Police Department reports that the victim was discovered at around 8:08 p.m. on the 2000 block of West Estaugh Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim later succumbed to these injuries.

Surveillance footage reveals the victim walking alongside an unidentified male prior to the incident. The pair was last seen near the Hoagie City store at 2222 W. Hunting Park Avenue before continuing to the 3400 block of North 21st Street. Detectives are actively working to identify the individual captured in the video and believe he may hold key information about the case.

The City of Philadelphia has issued a reward of $20,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for any homicide. Police urge the public to avoid confronting the suspect if spotted and instead to immediately contact 911.
