PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced upcoming roadway repairs on Route 73 (Cottman Avenue) in Philadelphia that will affect traffic flow throughout the week.
A right lane closure is scheduled on the westbound side of Route 73 between U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) and Bustleton Avenue. The work will take place from Monday, February 17, through Friday, February 21, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM daily. The closure is part of routine roadway maintenance aimed at improving driving conditions on this busy stretch of road.
Motorists traveling through the area are urged to allow additional time for their commutes, as delays and slowdowns are expected. PennDOT has emphasized that the planned schedule is weather-dependent and subject to change.
Drivers are advised to stay alert for construction crews and adhere to posted signs to ensure the safety of both workers and fellow travelers.
