WILMINGTON, DE — The Apache Software Foundation (ASF) has promoted Apache Answer™ and Apache StreamPark™ to Top-Level Projects (TLP). This achievement marks a milestone in their development and underscores the strength of their respective communities.
Apache Answer is an innovative, open source Q&A platform designed to empower organizations to build robust knowledge bases and foster collaborative communities. “Apache Answer’s graduation as a Top-Level Project marks a significant milestone in our journey,” said Ning Qi, Vice President of Apache Answer. “This achievement reflects the dedication of our community and the maturity of our platform in providing a Q&A platform solution for knowledge management and community engagement.”
Similarly, Apache StreamPark offers a streamlined framework and operational platform for developing and managing streaming applications. It supports key technologies like Apache Flink® and Apache Spark™, providing comprehensive lifecycle management for stream processing applications. “Becoming an Apache Software Foundation Top-Level Project is a significant milestone and one that would not be possible without the dedication and hard work of the StreamPark community,” noted Huajie Wang, Vice President of Apache StreamPark. “We look forward to continued technical and community growth under the ASF’s stewardship.”
The ASF plays a critical role in creating and sustaining thriving open source ecosystems. Through its Incubator program, the organization mentors projects and provides essential services aimed at building resilient communities that adhere to the Apache Way of governance and collaboration.
With these two projects reaching TLP status, Apache Answer and Apache StreamPark are well-positioned to continue driving innovation and collaboration in their respective domains. This milestone highlights ASF’s ongoing efforts to grow and steward open source initiatives with global impact.
