MIDDLETOWN TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced forthcoming bridge repairs on I-295 in Middletown Township, Bucks County, that will affect traffic next week with overnight lane closures.
From Monday, January 27, through Thursday, January 30, eastbound I-295 approaching U.S. 1 will experience single-lane closures from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning. Similarly, westbound I-295 near U.S. 1 will undergo lane closures starting Wednesday, January 29, through Friday, January 31, during the same nighttime hours.
Motorists using these roadways are advised to prepare for potential delays and build in extra travel time. PennDOT encourages drivers to remain cautious while navigating the work zones. All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change.
