LANCASTER, PA — Clipper Magazine Stadium will host its 5th annual Pack the Park event from Monday, January 20, to Friday, January 24, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day. The community-driven initiative seeks to collect essential items to support local organizations and individuals in need.
Donations can be dropped off at the BCF Group Box Office inside the stadium during event hours. High-priority items include non-perishable food, personal care products, clothing, and housewares. Food donations should be non-glass and include items like canned soup, rice, coffee, and pantry staples. Personal care needs include toothpaste, razors, and baby essentials such as diapers and wipes.
Clothing items like thermal underwear, socks, and boots, along with cleaning supplies, sleeping bags, and blankets, are also in demand. Gently used items will be donated to Goodwill Keystone Area, while other key items will support neighborhood organizations.
With a focus on aiding the community, Pack the Park aims to make a tangible difference by filling the stadium with essential goods for underserved populations. Community participation can help turn this goal into a reality.
