Massive Drug Bust in Wilmington: Philadelphia Man Caught with Over 4,500 Grams of Marijuana!

WILMINGTON, DEWilmington Police have arrested a 48-year-old Philadelphia man following an investigation into illegal drug activity in the city.

The investigation, conducted by the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division, began in November and targeted alleged drug sales occurring in the 300 block of West 7th Street. On December 18, at approximately 9:02 a.m., officers executed a search warrant at the identified location. Jeffrey Rose, a resident of Philadelphia, was taken into custody without incident during the operation.

During the search, law enforcement officers reportedly recovered 4,555 grams of marijuana and THC products, along with drug paraphernalia. Authorities allege that these items were intended for distribution.

Rose has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute in a Tier 2 quantity, possession of a controlled substance in a Tier 2 quantity, and possession of drug paraphernalia. After arraignment in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas, Rose was committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution, where he awaits further legal proceedings.

It is crucial to remember that charges are allegations, and all individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
