Police Search for Suspect in Fatal Hit-and-Run on Levick Street

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Police are seeking information regarding a fatal hit-and-run incident involving a pedestrian in Northeast Philadelphia on November 1, 2024. The crash occurred at approximately 2:16 a.m. on the 4800 block of Levick Street.

Authorities have identified the suspect vehicle as a black 2008 Nissan Murano with a temporary Virginia state paper tag. The vehicle, believed to have been driven by a Black male with a beard and mustache, was last seen heading south on Torresdale Avenue from Levick Street. Surveillance images captured the vehicle and driver at a toll plaza before the crash as they entered Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia Police Department urges anyone who sees this individual not to approach but to contact 911 immediately.
