EXTON, PA — US Digestive Health (USDH) has bolstered its growing network of gastroenterology specialists by welcoming 19 new Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) set to join in 2024. This expansion will help meet the increasing demand for high-quality digestive care across Pennsylvania and Delaware.
The new APPs will serve patients in multiple counties, including Berks, Blair, Bucks, Chester, Cumberland, Lancaster, and Washington. Their assignments cover a range of USDH office locations across the region, further enhancing patient access to specialized gastrointestinal care.
The incoming APPs include physician assistants and certified registered nurse practitioners who will be placed across locations such as Royersford, Wyomissing, Ephrata, Broomall, Newark, and more. This large addition to USDH’s workforce reflects the organization’s strategic efforts to address the rising need for digestive health services while ensuring patients receive timely and comprehensive care.
“As the demand for high-quality gastroenterological care continues to rise and the number of practicing physicians remains limited, we are thrilled to welcome these highly skilled APPs to our team,” said Dr. Louis La Luna, Chief Medical Officer of US Digestive Health. “Their expertise will allow us to expand access to essential services, ensuring that our patients and communities receive the care they need when they need it.”
This wave of new providers reinforces US Digestive Health’s commitment to improving healthcare access and meeting the needs of diverse communities. Through this expansion, the organization strengthens its role as a key provider of gastroenterology services and continues to build a robust network to support patients across the region.
