MEDIA, PAHealthcare Administrative Partners (HAP) has announced a new partnership with Imaging Healthcare Specialists (IHS), a prominent provider of advanced imaging services in Southern California. This relationship marks HAP’s first client in the state of California.

Imaging Healthcare Specialists, which operates nine locations across the San Diego region, has joined HAP’s roster for its revenue cycle management services. HAP will now handle critical functions for IHS, including billing, coding, carrier credentialing, business intelligence, and MIPS Measure Assurance Services.

After conducting a thorough search, IHS selected HAP due to its depth of radiology expertise and alignment in values. “We were obviously looking for a partner that knows the ins and outs of radiology revenue cycle,” said John Sandor, Vice President of Operations at Imaging Healthcare Specialists. “However, it was imperative that those same revenue cycle experts were also a cultural fit within our group. Not only were we impressed by HAP’s vast knowledge of radiology RCM, but the culture and camaraderie among their team was evident very early on in our conversations. We are confident that the HAP team will quickly become an extension of ours and trust their ability to deliver exceptional service.”

HAP’s leadership shared similar enthusiasm for the collaboration. “HAP is only successful when our clients are successful, and we work best when our values align with those of our clients,” stated Rebecca Farrington, Chief Revenue Officer at Healthcare Administrative Partners. “Technical expertise will always be important, but it is that cultural fit that bridges the gap between a supplier and a true partner. We are eager to enter this new relationship with Imaging Healthcare Specialists knowing that we share both values and a desire for mutual success.”
