Hulmeville Road Scheduled for Pipe Replacement, Temporary Closure Announced

Traffic Advisory

MIDDLETOWN TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced a scheduled pipe replacement on Hulmeville Road in Middletown Township, Bucks County. The project is set to take place from Friday, December 13, through Friday, December 20, with work occurring daily from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

During this period, Hulmeville Road will be closed on weekdays between Highland Avenue and Old Lincoln Highway. To accommodate motorists, a marked detour will direct traffic along Highland Avenue/Fairhill Avenue and Old Lincoln Highway. Local access to properties and residences within the closure area will be maintained; however, PennDOT advises drivers to plan ahead and allow for additional travel time due to expected backups and delays near the work zone.

All scheduled activities are contingent upon favorable weather conditions. PennDOT is encouraging motorists to remain alert and exercise caution when traveling through the area to ensure the safety of both drivers and workers.
