WILMINGTON, DE — Ten individuals suspected of involvement in the Wilmington-area gang Exit 4 have been indicted on more than 130 charges following a multi-agency investigation spanning several years. Officials allege the defendants, linked to “Exit 4” and also referred to as “The Mag” or “Magboyz,” are responsible for a series of violent crimes, including three murders and multiple attempted murders.

The indictment, announced by Attorney General Kathy Jennings, is the result of extensive investigative efforts by the Delaware Department of Justice, the Wilmington Police Department, and the New Castle County Police Department, with assistance from the Delaware State Police and the Department of Correction. Officials described the charges as part of a larger effort to counter gang-related violence in Wilmington and surrounding areas.

“We’re looking forward to getting justice for these victims,” Attorney General Jennings said in a prepared statement, emphasizing the essential role of such investigations in disrupting gang activities. She credited the collaboration between law enforcement agencies and the determination of investigators in bringing this case forward.

The charges, which span incidents that occurred between January 2020 and December 2024, include allegations of murder, attempted murder, gang participation, and multiple firearm offenses. The crimes are connected to the deaths of Latahesia Hill, Khalil Ameer-Bey, and Kwamir Wise, as well as other violent incidents.

Wilmington Police Chief Wilfredo Campos highlighted the collaborative work, noting that the charges reflect years of dedication from investigators. “Indictments like these reflect our tireless efforts to address gun violence and hold gun offenders accountable for their actions,” Campos said. Acting Chief of Police for New Castle County, Major Benjamin Feldmann, also praised the outcome, stating that such partnerships between agencies are critical in addressing violent crime.
