Kennett Square Juvenile Alleged to Have Assaulted Peer During Altercation

KENNETT SQUARE, PA — Authorities in Kennett Square are investigating an incident involving two male juveniles after an alleged physical altercation that occurred in October.

On October 21, 2024, at approximately 11:06 a.m., officers from the Kennett Square Police Department responded to a reported dispute in the 100 block of East South Street in Kennett Square Borough. According to law enforcement, video footage of the incident showed one of the juveniles allegedly striking the other in the back of the head, pushing him to the ground, and kicking him in the face.

Following a review of the incident, a juvenile allegation was filed with Chester County Juvenile Probation on December 9, 2024. The accused juvenile is facing charges that include Simple Assault, Harassment, and Disorderly Conduct.

Authorities remind the public that any charges filed in connection with this case are allegations. All individuals involved are presumed innocent unless or until proven guilty in a court of law.
