CHESTER COUNTY, PA — The YMCA of Greater Brandywine (YGBW) is celebrating the holiday season by recognizing healthcare workers, teachers, and first responders with its ‘Tis the Season Membership Promotion. The initiative offers these community heroes significant discounts on memberships as a token of appreciation for their vital contributions.
Through the promotion, these groups can save up to $99 on membership fees on select dates this December. Healthcare workers are invited to take advantage of the savings on December 10, teachers on December 21, and first responders and public safety professionals on December 28.
“YGBW is committed to giving back to those who dedicate their lives to strengthening our community,” said Bertram L. Lawson II, President and CEO of YMCA of Greater Brandywine. “This promotion is our way of saying thank you to the people who care for our loved ones, educate our youth, and risk their safety to protect ours.”
Additionally, veterans can enjoy year-round benefits, including a waived join fee and a 10% discount on monthly dues at any YGBW branch.
YGBW, the largest non-profit in Chester County, serves more than 80,000 community members with programs and services that focus on health, youth development, and social responsibility. Memberships are income-based, and financial assistance is available to ensure inclusion for all.
This initiative highlights the YMCA’s commitment to fostering respect, caring, honesty, and responsibility across the community. For more details, individuals are encouraged to visit their nearest YGBW location.
