WAYNE, PA and JACKSONVILLE, FL — Argosy Healthcare Partners (AHP) has announced a recapitalization and partnership with Nicklas Medical Staffing (NMS), a national provider of staffing solutions for pathology and histology labs. This collaboration aims to accelerate growth and expand services across the lab-focused staffing sector.
Headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, NMS has been connecting specialized lab professionals, such as pathologists’ assistants, histotechnologists, histotechnicians, and cytotechnologists, with healthcare facilities since 2013. Its streamlined recruiting model helps labs enhance efficiency, improve quality, and support staff morale, establishing NMS as a trusted partner in the industry.
“We are thrilled to partner with NMS,” said Paul Barrett, Managing Partner at AHP. “Their exceptional foundation and expertise in lab-focused staffing aligns perfectly with our vision to create a leading provider in this segment. Together, we will build on NMS’ success and expand its service offerings nationwide.”
The partnership allows NMS to reinvest in its business and broaden its support for healthcare facilities and lab professionals. Founder Deborah Hills, a former pathologists’ assistant, emphasized the company’s commitment to maintaining high-quality, dependable services while scaling to meet growing demand.
With AHP’s backing, NMS plans to solidify its position in the healthcare staffing space, enhancing its ability to meet the needs of labs across the country. The move underscores the increasing importance of tailored and efficient staffing solutions in healthcare as facilities continue to face workforce challenges.
Nicklas Medical Staffing was represented in the transaction by SDR Ventures, LLC.
