PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced plans for pavement marking installation on Kelly Drive, which will involve periodic lane closures next week.
From Monday, December 9, through Friday, December 13, intermittent lane closures will take place in both directions of Kelly Drive between Strawberry Mansion Bridge Drive and West Hunting Park Avenue. Work will be conducted daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Drivers should allow for extra travel time when passing through the affected area, as traffic backups and delays are anticipated. All scheduled work is weather dependent.
The project is being carried out by Kuharchik Construction, Inc. of Exeter, using federal funds. These pavement markings are part of ongoing efforts to enhance road safety and maintain infrastructure in the city.
