WEST CHESTER, PA — West Chester University is preparing to honor 1,017 graduates during its winter commencement ceremonies on Friday, December 13, and Saturday, December 14. The events will mark a pivotal moment for students ready to begin new chapters in their lives.
The university will host three undergraduate ceremonies at Hollinger Fieldhouse on its North Campus, accommodating 769 students eligible to receive their bachelor’s degrees. Among them are eight students who completed their coursework at the Philadelphia location during the summer or fall.
Graduate students will be celebrated in a separate ceremony at 9 a.m. on Saturday, December 14. A total of 248 students from across all colleges and sites—including eight from the Philadelphia location—will receive advanced degrees.
The schedule for the ceremonies is as follows:
- Friday, December 13
6 p.m.: College of Science & Mathematics, College of Arts & Humanities, Wells School of Music (undergraduates) - Saturday, December 14
9 a.m.: Graduate School (all colleges)
12 p.m.: College of Business and Public Management, University College (undergraduates)
3 p.m.: College of Health Sciences, College of Education and Social Work (undergraduates)

Guests are encouraged to use the New and Sharpless street parking garages, which will be free during the commencement weekend.
