The iconic sextet, led by the accomplished pianist Mike LeDonne, promises to transport audiences back to the classic sound of the Blue Note era, reminiscent of the vibrant jazz scene of the 1950s and ’60s.
On Friday, November 22, the stage will feature an illustrious lineup with Mike LeDonne on piano, Sean Jones on trumpet, John Webber handling the bass, Kenny Washington on drums, Mike DiRubbo on saxophone, and Steve Davis on trombone. The following night, Saturday, November 23, will see a slight shift in the ensemble’s configuration, with tenor saxophonist Eric Alexander and alto saxophonist Vince Herring joining LeDonne, Jones, Webber, and Washington.
For those looking to extend their jazz experience beyond the Thanksgiving festivities, Chris’ Jazz Café All Stars will take the stage on Saturday, November 30. Joining him will be Alex Claffy on bass, Tyler Henderson on piano, Joe Peri on drums, and special guest saxophonist Sam Dillion.
