Caught in the Act: West Chester Man Allegedly Behind Bold Wallet Theft and Fraudulent Spending Spree

WEST CHESTER, PA — Authorities in West Chester Borough have apprehended 29-year-old Prince Cooper on allegations of wallet theft and subsequent fraudulent activity involving financial cards. The arrest occurred following a detailed inquiry into an incident reported on October 7, 2024, at a business located in the 50 block of East Market Street.

The victim reported the wallet stolen and soon discovered that it had been used for unauthorized transactions at various establishments. The West Chester Borough Police Department promptly launched an investigation, which ultimately led to the identification of Cooper as the suspect involved in these alleged activities.

In response to their findings, law enforcement officials secured a warrant from the District Court and subsequently arrested Cooper on October 7, 2024. He is now in custody pending further legal proceedings.

It is important to note that an arrest does not equate to a declaration of guilt. All suspects, including Cooper, are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
