KENNETT SQUARE, PA — The Kennett Square Police Department has issued charges against Carlos Xicol-Maaz, 32, following an incident on October 3, 2024, in which he is alleged to have assaulted a female individual. The altercation reportedly occurred at approximately 10:26 PM on the 500 block of E. South Street in Kennett Square Borough. According to police reports, Mr. Xicol-Maaz allegedly struck the victim multiple times in the face, resulting in visible contusions.
Following the incident, Xicol-Maaz fled the scene, eluding immediate police response. An arrest warrant was subsequently issued by District Court 15-3-04 on October 4, 2024. The charges filed against him include simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct. Authorities are actively searching for Xicol-Maaz, who has yet to be located.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 32 years of age, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
Kennett Square Police have reiterated the importance of providing any information that may assist in locating Xicol-Maaz. They remind the public that while charges have been filed, these remain allegations, and Xicol-Maaz is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
