What You Need to Know About Maugers Mill Road Closures: Is Your Route Affected?

Road work

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced an upcoming pipe replacement project on Maugers Mill Road, affecting Upper Pottsgrove and Lower Pottsgrove townships in Montgomery County. Scheduled from September 23 to September 30, the road will be closed weekdays from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, between Route 663 (North Charlotte Street) and Farmington Avenue.

Motorists are advised to follow the designated detour routes to navigate around the closure. While local access will be preserved, drivers should expect potential delays and are encouraged to plan their commutes accordingly. The project timeline is weather-dependent, and adjustments may be made in case of adverse conditions.

This infrastructure enhancement is part of PennDOT’s ongoing efforts to improve road safety and efficiency in the region. For continuous updates on traffic patterns and project progression, residents and commuters are encouraged to visit the MyChesCo Traffic Center.
