Inspection Scheduled for Stone Quarry Road and W. Main Street Bridges

WEST EARL TWP, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced upcoming bridge inspections for the Stone Quarry Road (Route 1070) and W. Main Street (Route 1010) bridges spanning Route 222 in West Earl Township, Lancaster County. The inspections will take place between Mile 35.5 and Mile 35.9 of Route 222.

The inspections are scheduled for Wednesday, August 7, and Thursday, August 8, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, weather permitting. During these periods, there will be alternating left and right lane restrictions on northbound Route 222 on Wednesday and on southbound Route 222 on Thursday.

PennDOT advises motorists to remain alert and exercise caution while driving through the work zone.
