Pennsylvania Couple Arrested in Alleged Drug Manufacturing Operation

Arrest

HARRISBURG, PA — A couple from Washington County, Drew Divelbliss, 36, and Lauren Divelbliss, 40, were arrested on Tuesday in connection with an alleged large-scale drug manufacturing lab. The lab, located in their home in Eighty Four, Pennsylvania, was reportedly producing DMT, Psilocybin mushrooms, and THC products.

Officials from the Office of Attorney General Bureau of Narcotics Investigation executed a search warrant on Monday. They discovered approximately $200,000 worth of illegal narcotics, $300,000 in cash, and several rooms dedicated to the manufacturing operation. Two children were also found in the home, which contained hazardous chemicals.

Attorney General Michelle Henry commented on the case, stating, “This was a large-scale, highly-profitable manufacturing operation happening with two children at the home, which was essentially converted into a lab to produce illegal substances.” She praised the collaborative effort between law enforcement agencies that led to the shutdown of the lab and the protection of the children.

The Washington County District Attorney’s Office and the Pennsylvania State Police assisted in the investigation. Captain James Curto of the Pennsylvania State Police Drug Law Enforcement Division remarked, “The charges for the production of these illegal drugs, a serious offense, were made even more egregious by the presence of children in the home.”

Agents seized around 1,500 grams of DMT, valued at $150,000, 300 grams of THC shatter worth $45,000, Psilocybin mushrooms, hundreds of packages of THC edibles, 10 pounds of marijuana, and approximately $300,000 in vacuum-sealed bags.

Drew and Lauren Divelbliss face felony counts of possession with intent to deliver and felony counts of endangering the welfare of children. They were arraigned on Monday night with bail set at $250,000 each.
