WEST CHESTER, PA — Venerable Holdings, Inc. has appointed Tina Yang as Vice President of Financial Strategy and Analysis. In her new role, Yang will oversee financial analysis, strategic business reviews, and the evaluation of acquisitions and transactions. She will report directly to Greg Smith, Senior Vice President and Controller.
Yang brings a wealth of experience from her previous role as Chief Operating Officer at Legal & General Reinsurance. There, she managed company operations, including claims administration, technology development, IT operations, and supplier management. She also led special projects focused on risk management, new business, and finance, and collaborated closely with Legal & General Asia on strategic ventures.

Yang’s background includes extensive actuarial experience, particularly in the variable annuity sector, with Milliman Financial Risk Management. She holds degrees in Mathematics, Actuarial Science/Finance, and Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, along with an MBA from the University of Oxford. She is also a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
Yang’s appointment is expected to bolster Venerable Holdings’ strategic initiatives and operational efficiencies as the company aims for continued growth.
