Energage’s Lisa Sordilla Honored as 2024 Delaware Valley HR Person of the Year

EXTON, PAEnergage has announced that its Chief People Officer, Lisa Sordilla, has been named the 2024 Delaware Valley HR Person of the Year in the Extra Small Company category. This award signifies excellence in human resource management and highlights Sordilla’s significant contributions and innovative strategies.

The Delaware Valley HR Person of the Year Award, established in 2001, celebrates outstanding achievements in the local HR community. It emphasizes inclusiveness and respect for all participants, enriching the HR profession with diverse experiences and perspectives.

Sordilla’s journey with Energage began when she was a customer. She then transitioned to become the HR Director in March 2017. Her mission to create better workplaces aligns with Energage’s vision of making the world a better place to work together. With a background in sociology and social work, Sordilla has excelled in HR roles across various industries, particularly in rapid-growth technology firms where she focuses on people-first cultures.

Sordilla also serves as President of the Greater Valley Forge HR Association and is involved with the New Choices Career Development Program Board at Delaware County Community College. She co-chairs the Campus Philly Employer’s Council and advocates for working women and parents, embodying the award’s core values of diversity and inclusion.
