PHILADELPHIA, PA — Rush Street Gaming has named Susan Foster as the new general manager of Rivers Casino Philadelphia. Foster, an international gaming executive, brings a wealth of experience to her new role.
Foster’s career in the casino industry spans several countries. She started as a table games dealer in the U.K., Nigeria, and the Bahamas. Her journey then took her to Mississippi, where she spent 14 years at Grand Casino & Resort and Bally’s Entertainment, overseeing table games and poker operations.
In Michigan, Foster served as the director of table games at Odawa Casino before moving to Pennsylvania for the first time. At Harrah’s Philadelphia, she earned Caesars Entertainment’s highest leadership award. Her career then led her to Hollywood Casino, where she became vice president of operations. For nearly a decade, she managed slots, table games, poker, and several other departments at various Penn Entertainment properties.
Foster joined Rivers Casino Philadelphia in April 2024 as an assistant general manager. She now succeeds Eric Althaus as general manager.
“Having worked in various gaming jurisdictions in America and several other countries, I’m both an advocate for and an example of the tremendous opportunities casino gaming provides,” Foster stated. “I’m very excited to be back in Pennsylvania at such a dynamic property.”
Tim Drehkoff, CEO of Rush Street Gaming, praised Foster’s contributions since joining the team. “Susan’s broad worldview of gaming operations has significantly benefited Rush Street since she joined last spring,” he said. “Her history and familiarity with the southeastern PA gaming market has proven to be a great advantage for Rivers Philly.”
Foster’s appointment highlights her extensive background in the gaming industry and her leadership capabilities. Her new role promises continued growth and excellence for Rivers Casino Philadelphia.
