PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that paving work will take place on Aramingo Avenue and Harbison Avenue next week, leading to lane closures.
From Monday, July 8, through Friday, July 12, a lane closure is scheduled between Wheatsheaf Lane and U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning. This work is part of a broader effort to repair and resurface state roadways in Philadelphia.
Motorists should prepare for slowdowns and allow extra travel time when passing through the affected areas. The schedule is weather dependent.
James J. Anderson Construction Company, Inc., based in Philadelphia, is handling the project, which is funded entirely by state resources.
