HARRISBURG, PA —In observance of Independence Day, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) will close all driver license and photo centers, including the full-service center in Harrisburg, on Thursday, July 4, 2024. Despite the closure, PennDOT assures that customers can access a wide range of services online.

Through the PennDOT Driver and Vehicle Services website, residents can renew driver’s licenses and vehicle registrations, schedule driver exams, and more without additional fees. These online services are available 24/7, ensuring that Pennsylvanians can manage their driving needs even when physical centers are closed.
