PHILADELPHIA, PA — ETF Architect recently appointed Michael Barolsky as its new Chief Executive Officer. Barolsky steps into the role following Patrick Cleary, who will remain with the firm as Senior Partner – Strategic Relationships.
Barolsky brings over 15 years of experience in advising asset managers on building and operating registered funds. Prior to joining ETF Architect, he was Senior Vice President and Head of Regulatory Services for U.S. Bank Global Fund Services. There, he led legal and compliance teams and contributed significantly to the growth of the firm’s ETF business. Throughout his career, Barolsky has assisted more than 50 ETF sponsors in launching over 150 ETFs. He began his career as an investment management lawyer with Thompson Hine LLP in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Barolsky holds degrees in global business and political dynamics and business administration from Boston University, as well as a juris doctorate from the George Washington University Law School. He is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
