KENNETT SQUARE, PA — The Brandywiners Ltd, a nonprofit arts organization established in 1932, will present the musical “Seussical” at Longwood Gardens this July. This production promises fun for the whole family and offers an enchanting experience in the beautiful Open Air Theatre.
The performances will run from Wednesday, July 24th through Saturday, July 27th, with shows starting at 7:30 p.m. each evening. Tickets to “Seussical” include all-day access to Longwood Gardens, allowing attendees to explore the stunning gardens before enjoying the evening show.
“Seussical,” narrated by the beloved Cat in the Hat, follows the adventures of Horton, an elephant who discovers a tiny world on a speck of dust. This world is home to the Whos, including Jojo, a young Who with a vivid imagination. Horton’s journey involves protecting the Whos from numerous dangers and caring for an abandoned egg left by Mayzie La Bird. Despite facing ridicule and various challenges, Horton’s determination never wavers, thanks to the unwavering support of his friend Gertrude McFuzz.
