Lane Closures on Levick Street for Utility Construction to Cause Delays

Traffic Restrictions

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that utility construction is set to begin on Levick Street as part of a local safety improvement project.

From Monday, June 24, through Monday, July 15, a weekday lane closure will be in effect from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The closure will stretch between Eastwood Street and Horrocks Street.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through this area as traffic backups and delays will occur. All planned activities depend on weather conditions.

This project aims to enhance the safety and efficiency of the roadway for both drivers and pedestrians. The temporary inconvenience is expected to contribute to long-term improvements in local traffic flow and road safety.
