HARRISBURG, PA — Zebbelin Standish, a 36-year-old man from Northampton County, was sentenced to 81 to 162 years in prison for sharing and possessing child sexual abuse material. Standish shared several videos using the KIK social media application and had over 50 images on his cellphone.
The sentencing took place Wednesday in Northampton County Court. Judge Paula A. Roscioli imposed the long sentence to ensure Standish could never harm another child.
Standish’s conviction came after a trial in February. He faced 55 felony counts following an investigation by the Office of Attorney General’s Child Predator Section, leading to his arrest in 2022.
Attorney General Michelle Henry stressed the impact of Standish’s actions. “This defendant re-victimized the children depicted in the abuse images by sharing them online,” she said. Henry highlighted the dangers of social media platforms being misused by predators and emphasized her office’s commitment to protecting children.
Standish was found guilty of 50 felony counts of possession of child pornography, four counts of dissemination of child pornography, and criminal use of a communication facility. The four-day jury trial concluded with a unanimous verdict.
Senior Deputy Attorney General Michelle Laucella prosecuted the case.
