Delaware County Nighttime Resurfacing to Cause Lane Closures and Delays

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that resurfacing operations will take place in Delaware County next week.

From Sunday, June 2, through Tuesday, June 4, lane closures will be in effect on Cedar Grove Road between Route 252 (Newtown Street Road) and Route 320 (Sproul Road) in Marple and Newtown townships. Work will occur from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM for utility adjustments, milling, and paving.

Additionally, from Sunday, June 2, through Friday, June 7, lane closures will affect Media Line Road between Route 252 and Route 3 (West Chester Pike) in Marple Township during the same hours for similar work.

From Tuesday, June 4, through Friday, June 7, lane closures will also be in place on Sugartown Road between Valley Forge Road and the Chester County line in Radnor Township from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

Motorists should plan for extra travel time as slowdowns are expected. All activities depend on weather conditions.
