Water Main Construction to Cause Lane Closures and Delays in Delaware County

DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — Water main construction on two state highways in Haverford and Radnor townships, Delaware County, will begin Monday, June 17.

From Monday, June 17, through Friday, June 28, lane closures with flagging are scheduled on Haverford Road at the intersection with Landover Road from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Additionally, from June 17 through November 29, Landover Road will be closed between Gaynor Road and Haverford Road, also from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. During this period, motorists will be directed to use Haverford Road, College Avenue, and Coopertown Road. Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.

Drivers should prepare for backups and delays when traveling through or near these areas. All scheduled activities depend on weather conditions.

Aqua Pennsylvania is carrying out the project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
