WEST CHESTER, PA — The legacy of Everett Beauregard, tragically taken from us in 2022 due to unprovoked gun violence, has been honored with the dedication of a memorial bench in Natural Lands’ Stroud Preserve and the establishment of the Everett Beauregard Foundation.

The memorial bench, unveiled Sunday, April 28, 2024, under a sycamore tree at Stroud Preserve, was made possible by over 100 donations and will stand as a lasting tribute to Everett’s memory.

“As we come here to walk these paths and rest on this bench we’ll think of him – the son, the brother, the friend, the nephew, the cousin,” said Leslie Beauregard, Everett’s mother, “and maybe we’ll forget for a minute what we have lost and be reminded of what we had.”

In addition to the memorial bench, the Everett Beauregard Foundation has been established to support organizations that are offering different paths for at-risk youth.

“The Everett Beauregard Foundation will be guided by the principles for which Everett was known – curiosity, inclusion, and fairness,” said Donna Gimbel, Board Member of the Everett Beauregard Foundation. “The mission is to disrupt the cycle of violence by helping vulnerable teens choose a hopeful path of opportunity, belonging and purpose.”
