COATESVILLE, PA — Amber Little-Turner has been named Executive Director of the Coatesville 2nd Century Alliance. The appointment was confirmed by the Chester County Commissioners at their November 15 meeting. Little-Turner had been serving as Acting Executive Director since September 1, 2023.

Little-Turner’s strong ties to the community are lifelong. A native of the City of Coatesville, she served for three years as 74th District Outreach Coordinator for PA Representative Harry Lewis, Jr.

“I am eager to see where the City will go in the next few years,” says Little-Turner. “I grew up in Coatesville and always envisioned raising a family here. It’s inspiring to be part of the revitalization of the downtown and support the new restaurants and emerging small businesses – everything that makes a place an exciting destination, as well as a great place to live.”

The Coatesville 2nd Century Alliance is in the midst of a five-year strategic plan to drive economic development in the City of Coatesville to improve the quality of life and enable the community to thrive. The public/private partnership is funded by local government agencies and private sector contributions.

As Executive Director, Little-Turner will build on the organization’s recent successes, including working with residential neighborhoods through the Coatesville Growing Greater initiative, helping to attract new businesses to the City, and planning signature events. She will continue to nurture new and emerging businesses through the Made in Coatesville Small Business Incubator, a program she spearheaded that provides entrepreneurs with physical space to sell their services and products, as well as a support system and tools to help them succeed. The Made in Coatesville Holiday Market is currently running Fridays 4 – 8 p.m. and Saturdays 11:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. through Dec. 16 at 228 East Lincoln Highway in Coatesville.
