Philadelphia Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Aggravated Assault Suspect

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Central Detective Division of the Philadelphia Police Department is calling on the public for assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an aggravated assault case. The incident occurred on October 28, 2023, in a house located on the 1500 block of Ingersoll Street.

According to the police report, the victim, a 21-year-old female, was attending a party at the aforementioned address when she was assaulted by the suspect and several other individuals. The attack resulted in the victim sustaining severe injuries, including a broken nose, a broken wrist, a concussion, and other bodily harm.

The suspect is described as a Black male with dreadlock hair, who was wearing black clothing at the time of the incident. The Philadelphia Police Department has released a still photo of the individual and urges anyone who recognizes him or has information about the crime to come forward.

The police department stresses that if the suspect is spotted, members of the public should not approach him and instead contact 911 immediately. Those with information about the crime or the suspect can submit a tip via telephone by dialing 215.686.TIPS (8477), or text a tip to the same number. All tips will remain confidential.
