Guiderail Repair Scheduled on I-95, I-476 in Philadelphia, Delaware Counties

PHILADELPHIA, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that guiderail repairs are scheduled on Interstate 95 and Interstate 476 on Monday, November 6, through Friday, November 10, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, in Philadelphia and Delaware counties.

The work schedule and location are as follows:

  • Right lane closure on southbound I-95 between the Walt Whitman Bridge/Packer Avenue and the Broad Street (Route 611) interchanges in Philadelphia;
  • Right lane closure on northbound I-95 between the Walt Whitman Bridge/Packer Avenue and the Columbus Boulevard interchanges in Philadelphia;
  • Right lane closure on southbound I-95 between the Route 291/Cargo City Interchange and the Delaware County line in Philadelphia; and
  • Alternating lane closures in both direction on I-476 between the Interstate 76 and the Swarthmore/Media interchanges in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, and Radnor, Haverford, Marple, Springfield, and Nether Providence townships, Delaware County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
