COLLEGEVILLE, PA — Calling all pet lovers in southeastern Pennsylvania! The Pennsylvania SPCA is taking a creative step to help our furry friends find their forever homes. This Sunday, November 5, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., the PSPCA will be moving its adoption event off-site and heading to PetSmart in Collegeville.

The decision comes as the PSPCA noticed a decrease in visitors to their Philadelphia headquarters on Sundays. Now, they’re bringing the dogs directly to you! Approximately 3-5 adorable pups will be wagging their tails, ready to meet and charm potential new families.

Maddie Bernstein, Director of Lifesaving at the Pennsylvania SPCA, emphasized the importance of this initiative. “Dog adoptions have decreased nationwide,” she said. “We must be creative to help these beautiful souls find the loving families they deserve.”

And the best part? You can adopt your new furry family member right on the spot, thanks to PetSmart’s kennel license. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to buy everything your new pup needs, all in one convenient location.

Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to add a new four-legged member to your family. Remember, all normal adoption processes and policies apply. So, mark your calendars for this Sunday at PetSmart in Collegeville for a day filled with tail wags and puppy love!
