The criminal complaint alleges that on October 17 at approximately 4:52 p.m., officers from the Uniformed Services Division were dispatched to the 1600 block of West 4th Street following reports of a vehicle collision. Prior to their arrival on the scene, officers received additional information that one of the subjects involved was armed with a handgun.
Upon their arrival, the police learned that 45-year-old William Green had been threatening other individuals involved in the collision with a firearm. Officers acted promptly and managed to take Green into custody without any further incident. A search revealed that Green was in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun.
Following his arrest, Green was charged with Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon and Aggravated Menacing. These charges reflect the seriousness of the situation, demonstrating the threat Green posed to others at the scene.
