DOWNINGTOWN, PA — The end of the school year comes with a flurry of last minute gifts for teachers, bus drivers, dance instructors, and even our own moms. We wind up buying the same old gift cards and grandma mugs… and like most self-care and self-indulgence for women, getting ourselves a well-deserved treat gets thrown on the back burner and completely forgotten.
You can do something different this year AND shop for a good cause at the biggest annual fundraiser run by Downingtown East High School’s Home and School Association.
Over 120 local small businesses will be at the high school (50 Devon Dr, Exton, PA, 19341) for the Annual Craft Fair on April 15th from 9 am-3 pm.
There will be vendors selling everything from jewelry and clothing to wall hangings, blankets and perfume, and LOTS of sweet or salty treats. For more details, including a full listing of vendors with photos of what to expect, follow our Facebook group here.
While you are shopping, don’t forget to bid on all of the amazing raffle baskets on display…because someone’s got to win them and it just might be you!
If that much shopping usually makes you hungry, you’ll be covered. Food trucks scheduled to stop by include Philly Hots!, Nacho Depot, Smokin Butler Brisket & BBQ, and Scrape & Scoop Ice Cream.
Please bring a dollar for entry per person, and expect to see lots of friends there! (Just don’t forget what you bought and where you hid it in the house between now and June…)
