Brandywine Valley Quilters invites you to enjoy and be inspired by the art and handwork on display July 22 – 24, 2022 at Neumann University’s Mirenda Center in Aston, PA. Our biennial Quilt Show is better than ever with more than 200 judged and exhibition quilts. There will be many vendors offering a wide selection of handcrafts, fabrics, and notions for you to explore. Throughout the show interesting lectures and demos will be offered. A wide array of beautiful mini quilts and creatively themed baskets will be raffled off. Admission is just $10 for all three days.
This quilt show celebrates the artist, scientist, and creative spirit of today’s quilters, highlighting beautiful piecing and experiments with color combinations and quilting designs. Making a quilt is a science — measurement, precision, tools, and a fair amount of skill are needed for every project. It is a beautiful artform – pulling together fabric choices, designs and piecing to tell a story, or brighten a home. Each quilt is unique and reflects the creativity of the quilter.
Brandywine Valley Quilters, a dynamic non-profit organization that began in 1987, hosts this event with some of the profits going toward educational and philanthropic causes including scholarships to support students pursuing post-secondary education or training in textile, sewing, quilting, fiber, fabric arts and/or technology or related areas.
