PAOLI, PA — Chester County is well-known for its deep history, scenic communities, and fun, family-oriented activities. The beating heart of the Main Line, this fantastic area is a great destination year-round. However, there’s something particularly special about autumn in Chester County; the leaves are changing, there is a crisp breeze in the air, and the community is full of seasonal spirit. What to Expect at Oktoberfest 

Whether you’re an adult, a kid, or a family, this rousing event is sure to offer something for everyone. Kids will have the opportunity to go wild with a bouncy house, face painting, pumpkin decorating and games. Adults will get to cut loose if they’re interested in a great beer selection. Don’t have kids and are not a beer aficionado? No problem. Here are some of the events that you can enjoy regardless of your interests.

Dog Costume Contest: Pet owners rejoice! Oktoberfest isn’t just pet-friendly, it celebrates your pet and their individuality. Pull together a creative costume and compete for one of the many class prizes, including Best Costume, Best Dressed, Best Pooch Smootch, Best Trick, and Closest Look-A-Like. Have fun and bring home bragging rights on behalf of your pet!

Live Music and Dancing: In the spirit of true Oktoberfest, enjoy rousing live music and dancing that’ll make you feel like you’re in Germany. The event will feature two different German Oompah bands, bringing you the traditional brass folk tunes of the Bavarian homeland. There will also be a special performance brought regards of the Betsy Daily School of the Performing Arts.

German Food: Regardless of whether you’re enjoying the featured beers, you won’t want to miss the food, brought to you exclusively by an array of local Main Line businesses. Representative of traditional German delicacies, you’ll be sure to leave this event satisfied with this tasty cuisine.

Fun Games and Contests: Not just for kids, there will be an array of fun games and contests for all ages throughout the day. Adults will have access to yard games throughout the day, as well as Quizzo, and competitions like Nagelspielen (nail striking game), a Chicken dance dance-off, a Plunger pretzel team toss, and Masskrugstemmen (stein-hoisting contest). Don’t forget to bring your sense of humor and join in on the fun!

Oktoberfest Main Line is scheduled for October 9, 2021, from 12 Noon to 7:30 PM at Good Samaritan Field (212 W. Lancaster Ave) in Paoli, PA. The kindergarten kid’s play area will be open from 12 Noon to 6 PM.

Inclement Weather

If you’re worried about inclement weather, don’t be! There will be a huge festival tent to protect attendees rain or shine, so the show will go on regardless of the weather.

Event Admissions 

Tickets are $10 for those 21 and over, and entry is free for those under 21 under the care of a paying adult. Advance ticketing is closed for the event, but you can still get your tickets at the door. All ticket proceeds will go to humanitarian charities, including T&E Care, the ARC of Chester County, and International Rotary programs, among others.
